Happy Tales Report
6/26/17 Mostly Happy Tales From Inside And Around The FoG Kennel.

John is not able to write this week’s blog. So instead, here are Michelle’s notes that she wrote for John.

I think today is blog day. We have a big rush yesterday and I’m going in three directions and I am delivering three dogs tonight!! If all goes well, Stormy, Casey and Annie will all be in homes tonight. TWO of the new families will get half price adoption because they are taking Birthday Dogs!! (correction – Casey and Annie were delivered – Stormy was not. Both were Birthday Dogs)

Maggie is doing wonderfully in her new home. Joan and the crew are very happy – but I’m sure you’ve gotten all of that thru Dusty’s blog.

We have two new boys in the kennel – A very dark, almost black, brindle boy named Oshkosh Pumped and we’re calling him Boogie. And a tall, very red boy named Atascocita Papa. He’s big and red so he’s now called Clifford. They are both three years old and we’ll have more info up on Petfinder shortly. They are already at the vet so they’ll be ready for adoption soon.

Taylor’s birthday on Sunday was uneventful. He had someone come to look at him but it wasn’t the right fit for him. But that’s okay. He’s still popular and will find his forever home soon.

We have about 6 confirmed people coming to the Pot Luck in three weeks. Really need to rally the troops. Everybody says they want to get together and in the summer it’s too hot to do much outside. This is a great way to visit with greyhound friends and they’ve got to eat anyway!!

(Honestly, if it doesn’t pickup, I’m going to have to cancel. There’s 8 girls in the Scout troop. I would hate for them to outnumber us.)
