Donating Items to Friends of Greyhounds
In addition to money we need “things”. Below is a partial list of the types of things we’re talking about. Your contributions go a long way to helping us fulfill our mission.

For Mealtime:
- Rice, Pasta, Macaroni, Noodles
- Canned Mackerel, Tuna, Sardines
- Broths, Gravies & Bullion
- Sweet Potatoes
- Applesauce
- Canned Peaches & Pears
- Vanilla Wafers
- Canned Vegetables (Carrots, Spinach, Lima Beans, etc.)
For the Dogs:
- Dog Biscuit Treats
- Stuffed Animals & Dog Toys (8 to 10 Inches)
- New cut pile carpet pieces (no berber), about 30 x 40 inches
- Comforters & Towels
- Dog Shampoo & Quick Wipe Cloths
For Cleaning & Medical:
- Pine Sol & Bleach
- Liquid Detergent, Fabric Softener
- Paper Towels & Toilet Paper
- Garbage bags (all sizes), and Ziploc/Glad bags (all sizes)
- Spray Cleaners (like 409 or Fantastik), Clorox Cleanup, Lysol Spray
- Air Fresheners, Lysol, Febreeze
- Latex Gloves (Disposable)
- Vet Wrap (2″ & 4″)
- First Aid supplies (Telfa Pads, wide gauze, tapes, etc.)
- Neosporin, Mycatracin or other antibiotic creams
- Veterinary Meds such as Drontal, Clavamox, Augmentin, Cephlyx, Nemex, Soloxine, Thyrozine, Rimadyl, Droxicillyn, etc.
- Worming, Heartworm and Flea/Tick treatments
For the Office & General:
- Printer Paper – regular reams of white printer paper for laser printer.
- Card Stock Paper – (About 67#) – White and Colors
- Postage Stamps – 44 cent or forever stamps, 17 cent stamps, or any others.
- Labels (1 X 3) like Avery 5160 for computer printing
- Gift items that can be used for raffle prizes & baskets
- Production of a video about the dogs, adoption, etc.
- Cash, Checks (For vet bills, telephones, electric, printing, special foods, medicines, transportation, etc.)
- Gift Cards for Publix, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Office Depot, Office Max, Kinkos, Gas, etc. Just a couple dollars left? Donate it!
